Today I started by fixing some depth issues that were brought about by the changing of the persistence within each object. That was an easy fix, for all I had to do was change the depth of the ammo text so it would show up at night, clarify the font that the clock is using, and then adjust the depth of the night cycle drawing that makes it dark. From there, I decided to re-do the title screen. I want to make it more smooth, and blend a lot better with the art style that we already have.
As for the learning aspect of things, I think what I have learned lately is that it is important to lay out depths properly, and not just throw in a 1 with a ton of 0's behind it. I think at some point I am going to fix that so it is easier to keep track of.
Tomorrow, I will continue work on the title screen, hopefully finishing the "drop dead" part of it. If I have the time, then I may be able to start on the animation.
